At Direct Current / DC Enterprises, we like to take the time to get to know our customers and survey your site thoroughly.To ensure we meet your individual needs we will:
- Meet with you and discuss your expectations.
- Survey your site to determine the best method of generation.
- Assess your electricity consumption.
- Provide you with information to help you learn ways to conserve electricity.
- Assist you as much (or as little) as you need with installation.
Dan Cole, owner and manager has over 15 years of experience installing commercial and residential electrical systems of various types. Dan credits his children and his family for giving him the strong desire to get involved in environmental and community issues.
As well as running Direct Current, he is a volunteer with the Hazelwood Community Garden, involved with Scouts Canada, and the chairman of Sydenham Street United Church Green Team.
Michael Triska, our resident Engineer, is a Consulting Engineer that has provided a wide spectrum of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Design Services. As an engineer, Michael has a background in Sustainable Design, Renewable Energy HVAC and Energy Savings Systems including solar hot water, geo-exchange, solar PV and wind including renewable resource identification technology (DOW, SMARTR).
He has also been active in promoting community based sustainable transportation solutions. Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering Science in Mechanical and Renewable Energy from the University of Western Ontario.
